Turbo SA owners, Paul Martin and Grant Mackenzie, have a long history and unrivalled passion when it comes to the development of and giving back to the great game of water polo.  The latest Turbo Development Program is running at the Blue Downs heated indoor pool and takes place on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 09:00 - 11:00.
Mini game to end off with some fun!
This program will be running for the next 2 weeks and is aimed at introducing the youth of the area to the basics and FUN of water polo.

Turbo Charged Turtles Triumphant

For the second week in a row the Treading Turtles pulled one out the bag by beating the much favoured Baulking Blowfish.  In their previous encounter the Blowfish swam away easy winners with a 10 - 2 scoreline.  From the start the Turtles came out meaning business with 2 quick goals.  The Blowfish seemed to get frustrated and resorted to shooting from all ares of the pool but nothing could get past the Turtles goalie Daniel Van Zyl.  The game ended 6 - 2 to the Turtles, making them the Winners of the Inaugural Turbo Action Polo Tournament.

Earlier in the evening saw the Plate Final.  This was an extremely closely contested game with the score ending up a 6 goals all at full time.  This took us to the 3rd penalty shootout of the Tournament.  After 5 penalties each, the Sculling Squids ended up winning the Plate Final 5 - 4 on penalties.

Congratulations and THANK YOU to the players, parents and spectators who played a massive part in making the Inaugural Turbo Action Polo Tournament so successful!
