Jeppe Joins the Turbo Family
TurboSA are very excite to have Jeppe Boys High wearing the Turbo Custom New Generation range of caps for the upcoming season.

Rain, Hail, Penalty Shootouts and Upsets
The Semi-Finals for the Turbo Action Polo Tournament Plate and Cup were played at Reddam House on Monday night.
Plate Semi-Finals:
Things could not have been more evenly matched as BOTH games were tied at the final whistle, taking them into a sudden death shoot-out!
The match between the Sculling Squids and the Countering Crabs ended at 6 ALL with the Squids winning the shoot-out. On the other side of the pool we saw the game ending 9 ALL between the Shooting Sea Horses and the Sea Anemones with the Anemones taking the shoot-out win.
Plate Semi-Final Results:
Sculling Squids 6 (7) - Countering Crabs 6 (6)
Shooting Seahorses 9 (9) - Sea Anemones 9 (10)
Cup Semi-Finals:
Perhaps not as dramatic as far as the end scores go, but we did see perhaps the upset of the tournament in one of the matches.
The much favoured Excluded Eels, having lost only their first match of the tournament earlier in the evening, came up against the always improving Treading Turtles. The Turtles came out guns blazing and before we knew it, they were 7 - 0 up at half time. With 1 minute to go, Captain of the Eels, Josh Stubbs scored a fantastic individual goal but it was way too little too late with the final score ending up at 13 - 1 to the Turtles!
In the other Semi, the very impressive and unbeaten Baulking Blowfish were pushed to the very end by the Flying Penguins. 3 goals from the Penguins goal scoring machine, Adam Reilly, was however not enough to get his team through as the Blowfish ended up as 6 - 4 winners.

Baulking Blowfish 6 - Flying Penguins 4
Excluded Eels 1 - Treading Turtles 13

Turbo Action Polo Tournament Final Round Results
Despite the Cape Town winter weather, the call was made to go ahead with the final round of fixtures of the Turbo Action Polo Tournament. The games got underway on time and with semi-final positions at stake, it was all to play for.

CRUNCH TIME - Monday 30th May
This coming week sees the end of the round robin matches. Each team will play their last round robin game and then the "semi-finals" for both the Cup and Plate competitions will take place. The play off fixtures will be confirmed as soon as the round robin games are completed during Mondays first session of matches.
